Jamb Says There Is No Candidate That Has More Than One Utme Result

Bwari (Abuja) – The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says no candidate of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has more than one result.

The board stated this in its weekly bulletin released from the office of the Registrar on Sunday in Abuja.

JAMB

The bulletin quoted the Head, Media, and Publications, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, as saying that candidates with more than one result were either fraudulent or victims of examination syndicates.

According to him, the board has evidence of some candidates who paid money to syndicates to ensure they gain high scores in the examination.

“The syndicates, realizing that they could not deliver as promised, instead, came up with these forged results and sent the same to candidates who believed them.

“These are the set of candidates claiming to have two results, that is, with the actual result as one of them.

“It is practically impossible to have two results because we do not send results to candidates, rather, candidates send ‘Results’ to 55019 and the result is subsequently transmitted to the respective candidates.”

Benjamin added that the board has ensured that the UTME results were secured with high-security features that would render the efforts of any syndicate or fraudster null.

Having Difficulties Checking Your result.

One of such features, he added was a unique bar code placed on each result to safeguard it.

He, however, warned that candidates must not become gullible and desperate and urged them to be wary of criminal elements who want to defraud them.

Benjamin also said that the board’s renewed resolve to confront examination malpractice headlong was yielding results.

He pointed out that the board was not responsible for deciding a national cutoff mark for admissions into various institutions, adding that the board had not set a cutoff mark for the 2019/20 admission process.

He, however, explained that a national cutoff mark would be decided at the JAMB Policy meeting of education shareholders and heads of institutions to be chaired by a Ministry of Education official.

He said the meeting would hold on June 11 at Gbongan, Osun state. (NAN)

How Smuggling And Dumping Is Threatening Economic Policies

Mr Godwin Emefiele, Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), says the bank, with some stakeholders, He said, we have discovered smuggling and dumping as major challenges sabotaging the Nigerian economic policies.
The governor said this on the sideline of a consultative roundtable titled, “Going for Growth” with some economic stakeholders in Lagos.

The essence of the round table was to encourage participants to highlight important building blocks that will lead to greater economic growth in the country.
It also involves the CBN Governor listening to their ideas and views on how productivity and investments by companies operating in Nigeria can be improved.
Six Ways Your Startup Will Profit From Online Banking(Opens In A New Browser Tab)
Others include how to reduce the nation’s dependence on imported goods and increase exports of non-oil goods and services.
He said, we have discovered smugglers and people dumping goods as those who sabotage those policies and we decided that we will deal with them.
“The strategy that we came up with is that we will not bother ourselves with them.
“There is an agency of government that is responsible for border control and if these people pass through the border control we would use the instrumentality of being the regulator of the banking system to make sure that we get the banks to provide all details about them.
“We investigate their accounts and if they are found in economic sabotage, boarding, smuggling and dumping in Nigeria, we would not only block their accounts, we would close their accounts in all the Nigerian banks simultaneously.
He also said the CBN asked commercial banks to close those companies’ accounts and those of the top members of such entities.
The bank chief said CBN in due course would come up with the names of those that had been identified.
“We want to be sure that we come up with something that is credible and cannot be denied.
“At this stage we have already blocked the accounts of some in the textile and rice and palm oil company.
“We are investigating those accounts and as information becomes clearer, we can clearly say that they committed the offence.
“We would then go to the next level which is to forbid any Nigerian bank from maintaining accounts for these people,” he said.

Messi Scores Two Goals As Argentina Defeats Nicaragua 5 -1

Lionel Messi scored a first-half double as Argentina warmed up for the Copa America with a comprehensive 5- 1 win over Nicaragua on Friday in San Juan.
The Central Americans, who will participate in this month’ s Gold Cup tournament while Argentina battles it out in Brazil, frustrated the home side initially.
But it was left to captain Messi to spark his side into action in their only warm-up match ahead of the tournament, expertly opening the scoring on 37 minutes before grabbing another just 96 seconds later.
Lautaro Martinez, the Inter Milan forward, also scored twice, coming off the substitutes bench at half - time to give coach Lionel Scaloni food for thought ahead of the opening match with Colombia on June 15.
Scaloni, brought in after Jorge Sampaoli was sacked following a disastrous showing at the World Cup last summer, is aiming to build a younger team and end Argentina ’ s 26- year wait for a trophy.
Indeed, in Scaloni ’ s Copa America squad only Messi, Sergio Aguero, and Angel Di Maria remain from the one that was beaten by Germany in the World Cup final in Rio five years ago.
An on-song Messi, however, is needed for the South Americans to prosper over the next few weeks.
Messi has lost three Copa finals —- 2007, 2015 and 2016 — and the last time Argentina won an international title was in the same competition back in 1993, when the diminutive forward was just six years old. They have reached four of the last five finals.
With Brazil missing the injured Neymar for the showpiece event, which starts on June 14, Argentina is one of the favorites.
Early on in Friday’ s first meeting between Argentina and Nicaragua, Scaloni ’ s team failed to inspire in front of a sell- out crowd of 25, 000 at San Juan del Bicentenario stadium in San Juan, Argentina.
Aguero looked dangerous in the opening stages and Messi really should have done better on 12 minutes when he uncharacteristically shot wide from close range.
Nicaragua, however, were defending well while regularly asserting their physicality — Messi was twice hauled down in the opening half hour — to frustrate Argentina and their supporters.
River Plate’ s Matias Suarez had a shot pushed onto the post by visiting keeper Justo Lorente on 26 minutes but the two time World Champions were being made to work hard for openings.

Nicaragua, ranked 129th in the world and competing in their second successive Gold Cup, will prove a stern test for Costa Rica, Haiti and Bermuda despite this thrashing. They have yet to win a game in two appearances at the tournament — lost six with just one goal scored — but won ’ t go down without a fight.
Messi, however, is a danger for any team and his brilliant run and finish saw the Barcelona star beat three defenders before clinically finishing past Lorente. He grabbed his second soon after when Aguero ’ s shot was parried.
Scaloni withdrew key men Messi and Aguero at half - time, which allowed Martinez, 21, to impress with well -taken efforts on 63 and 72 minutes. Watford ’ s Roberto Pereyra made it five with nine minutes remaining while Nicaragua ’ s deserved consolation came through Juan Barrera’ s late penalty.  La Albiceleste will play with Colombia in Salvador before taking on Paraguay and Asian champions Qatar in Group B.

What can cause delays in the execution of new minimum wage

The effectuation of the new National Minimum Wage bill assented into law by President Muhammadu Buhari has been hat by some constraints, Saturday PUNCH can disclose.
Officials of some state governments told Saturday PUNCH that they had yet to get the written documents containing the execution road map from the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, about  10 days after the wage bill assented into law.
The improvement is said to be delaying the kickoff of negotiations between officials of state governments and the organized labor in the diverse states.
The Trade Union Congress Chairman , Bobboi Kaigama , had last week told Saturday PUNCH that although workers gratified  President Muhammadu  Buhari for asserting  the Minimum Wage Bill into law, the guide   should be released right away  by the National Salaries, Incomes, and Wages Commission so that organized labor could have an eventful discussion on the increments.
Nevertheless, the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission told one of our newsmen on Thursday that it was still expecting the Presidency to hand out a copy of the Act to enable it to fix the proposal for state governments.
When communicated, the Chief Press Secretary, National Salaries, Income, and Wages Commission, Mr. Emma Njoku, validated that an appended copy of the Act was yet being expected by the commission.
He aforementioned that once the new minimum wage act was obtained from the presidency, the commission would issue a circular letter for the execution of the new minimum wage.
He mentioned,  are awaiting the presidency to send us a signed copy of the new minimum wage Act. As soon as we receive it, we will issue the circular letter for its execution. ”
But, when communicated, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, told
Saturday PUNCH that what was most essential was that Buhari had ordered that the execution of the new wage should kickoff from April.
He noted that on this note, whether the wages and salaries commission issued a circular or not was the issue.
"

Circular or no circular, the minimum wage is N 30, 000, beginning from April.  In accordance with the President ’ s speech”, Shehu said.
When he was likewise contacted on phone, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters ( Senate), Senator Ita Enang, said, “ I will not speak on it. If there is anything on their part ( NSIWC), they should call the Office of the Attorney- General of the Federation or the suitable agency of government.
“ It will not be suitable to be answering in the media to what someone has said as a view.
“ The AGF ’ s office and the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation are there; so they ( wages commission) can make calls on any issues. ”
Yet, several calls placed to the AGF’ s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Salihu Isah, between Thursday and Friday and a text message demanding his reaction as to why his principal had yet to send the new Minimum Wage Act to the NSIWC, were not picked.
We will   put pressure   to forward  wage guide  – Labour
In the meantime. , the organized labor has suggested plots to put essential pressure on the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission to forward the template to state governments.
The Vice Chairman of Trade Union Congress, Sunday Salako, said organized labor would continue to mount pressure on the suitable agency of government over the detail in the release of guide for the new Minimum Wage to the state governments.
He expressed that, Organised labor will not relax in the quest of the new minimum wage issue. Of course, we will put the pressure . Once the organized labor has details on the reason for the hold-up, we will write to the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission. I am sure that the chairman will not want to see the other side of labor”
In the meantime, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour our Congress, Dr. Peter Ozo- Eson, has said the first task of the new state executives is to talk on the manner the new minimum wage would be paid in their states.

He, nevertheless, said that all states were not likely to pay the same amount to workers.
“ Each state council of the NLC will opens dialogues with the state government. We just conducted the state council elections. The new leadership that won in several states will open talks with state governments as their first task, ” he noted.
Officials of 24 states who spoke to Saturday PUNCH explicit the readiness to pay the new minimum wage but said certain conditions and agreements must be arrived at with labor unions and the Federal Government.
They also said they were expecting the execution guidelines from the Federal Government.
Some of the states were Benue, Ebonyi, Enugu, Anambra, Rivers, Delta, Edo, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, and Ekiti.
Other states are Katsina, Sokoto, Zamfara, and Plateau.
Adeniyi Adesina, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, in a chat with one of our newsmen, said the state was expecting the template for the execution of the new wage before answering.
Adesina expressed that, The state is expecting the Federal Government ’ s execution guidelines to enable it ( Osun) to answer. ”

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Simon Lalong on Media and Publicity, Mr. Mark Longyen, said the payment would only begin after the government had made the essential arrangement, including talks with the workers, to ensure the smooth kick- off of the policy in the state.
He expressed that, There are some things that need to be resolved before the government starts the payment of the minimum wage. For example, the government will need to dialogue with the state labor congress in order to sort out any grey area and come up with modalities for execution. ”
Likewise,  Katsina State Government said it was still expecting a circular from the NSIWC, which would categorically state how much should be paid as minimum wage to workers, include that there was nothing the state could do without the guidelines.
“ You can’ t build something on nothing, ” the official disclosed, figuring out that the circular was the real working paper for the execution of the new minimum wage.”

How to read and understand in an effective manner

Did you get to the end of a page and learn you have been reveries? It occurs to everyone at some point or another: you have got too little time or too little interest to spend another minute with Homer or Shakespeare. Luckily, learning to read cleverly and take good notes will make the reading a whole lot simpler, quick, and much more interesting. See Step 1 for more information.

1. Get rid of distractions. Get away from the computer system, turn off the TV, and cut out the music. It's very hard to read, most importantly if you are reading something difficult when your attention is shared. Reading intimately means you have to find a nice, convenient location that's distraction free.

To make reading fun get yourself a snack or a drink and get comfortable. Inflame candle or read in the tub to make yourself as comfortable, and make reading as enjoyable as possible, especially if it's not something you're excited about reading.
2. Scan first and then read nearly.
If you are reading something unimaginable, do not bother much about spoiling the ending for yourself. If you read a paragraph and have to begin the paragraph  over, view skimming over the the or whole story, or flipping through the book somewhat to get a sense of the plot, the main characters, and the tone of the reading, so you'll know what to concentrate o on as you read more nearly.

By  looking at Cliff's Notes or reading about the book online can be a good way to get a good summary of the reading to help you get through it with ease,  but be aware some teachers do frown on anything like this and may give a lower grade or even nothing when they notice you were using it. Just don't forget to go back and read through more nearly.

3. Picture what you are reading.  Imagine yourself as a movie director and picture the action while you are reading it. Cast the movie with actors, if it assists,  and really try to picture the events as realistically as possible. This can be a lot more interesting, and it will help you recollect and understand what you are reading a lot better.

4. Read aloud some people find it much easier to stay concentrated and interested in what they are reading by reading out loud. Lock yourself in your room, or hide in the basement and read as theatrically as you want. This can help slow you down if your tendency is to try to Scan too fast, and it can help make the reading more dramatic if you find it somewhat not interesting.

Always try reading poetry out loud. Reading The Odyssey becomes a much more amazing experience when you stir the muse aloud.

5..Look up any words, locations, or envisage you don't know. You can use context hints to help you find out things by yourself, but it's always a good idea to take a minute to learn any references you might not have gotten the first time. It'll make the reading much easier.

While you are in school, having looked up an unfamiliar word or concept will always win you bonus points. It's a good thing to get in the habit of doing.

6..Take time to relax. Make sure you save enough time to do your reading so you can finish it easily and take breaks often.  Closely  45 minutes of reading you do, let yourself relax for 15 minutes or do some other kind of homework, to give your mind a rest and let yourself concentrate on other things for a while. When you are ready, come back fresh and happy to get back to the story.

Tips for Effective Reading

As a fresher university study, the amount of reading you are expected to do can be intimidating. Nevertheless, you can learn how to gear up yourself beforehand and find ways to make the going easier. What looks to be a difficult task (tackling all that text) becomes possible when you start becoming an active reader; that is, asking questions about what you need to find out, taking a strategic and decisive attack, and then picking  readings that relate to your questions and undertakings

Does university study require lots of reading?

In short yes. Most courses require a great deal of reading, which is why you need to learn new methods to manage the workload.

What will I likely read for?

Lectures: You will likely  do some pre-reading in order to gear up  for lectures

Tutorials: Tutorials are often based on allocated readings. If you have not read the material, you won’t be able to partake in group discussions.

Assignments: You can’t do your assignment until you have done the essential findings.

The target of most of your reading will be to seek information germane to an assignment or course material.

I read novels and newspapers - will reading university material be the same?

How we read commonly lies in our reasons for reading. For example, while you might start reading a novel on page one and read every word until you get to the end, this wouldn't be an effectual approach to take with academic reading. To make the greatest out of academic reading and to use your time effectively, you need to take a strategic approach.

Having a list for reading  - am I expected to read everything on it?

Prolonged reading lists for courses and essays can be perplexing. especially when the subjects are unacquainted. Nevertheless, you don’t have to feel lost. Although only seldom will you be expected to read perfectly everything, if the thought of all that reading is intimidating, don’t doubt to take a strategic approach and be selective.

Best ways to overcome the crisis

The crisis is a precarious  condition of extreme danger or hardship
There is always an opportunity in crisis but people do not tend to know this and apply it to break forth in the period of hardship.
People always lack something or the other in a geographical location and these needs must be provided by someone to create wealth for him or herself.
Therefore the need for you to know that u can easily overcome the crisis of life whenever they come.
Type of crisis that human being can face in life.
 Retrenchment from work
This is the most common of all crisis, people get layoff from their secular job, being many of them have nothing to fall back on, they got small or no savings at all when they were still working and they tend not to cope when they lost their job, because they failed to prepare for raining days as there is no job security anywhere except if you are your own boss.
- Economic meltdown or doom
In case the economy of a certain could try crumble, this can spell doom for the citizens of such country, because the prices of goods and service will skyrocket, and there will be plenty money in circulation chasing few goods, which is referred to as inflation.
'' economic doom can be in form of recession or regression.
At the point of the recession, the economy is still fair and it can recover easily, but when it is regression it will take some time to recover.
'' there is no country in the world that can't be faced with an economy meltdown, because we are bound to face tribulation, since the fall of man in the garden of Eden. The man was to eat from his sweat. And nothing in this world is permanent, there is always time for everything as time is dynamic in nature.
- Lack of shelter
Some many people do not have a place to rest their head...and they either sleep in an uncompleted building or inside the buses pack by the roadside.

The remedy of overcoming the crisis
To overcome crisis these are the measures that need to be put in place.
- Savings
As an employee, you need to have savings every month and try as much as possible to indulge in other investment to augment the salary you earn from your circular job to create wealth.
Do not live above your means, some people before their salary is paid they are already indebted to some people that their expected salary can not even offset. people in this category will find it difficult to achieve their goals in life until they adjust and stop living above their means.
- Manage what God provides for you.
'' to manage is to be in charge of something, to handle it effectively and efficiently. That house you build how did u manage it? Did you make it look good and maintain it?
That car that you bought, how did you manage it? God provided these material things for you and if you can't manage the little ones He provided for you, how can you be able to manage the bigger ones if He provides it for you.
Our God is not a God of waste, He wants us to be good managers if you manage whatever He provided
well, there is a tendency that he will still provide more for you because He will trust you that you will be able to handle the bigger ones well.
In conclusion, don't see the crisis as the end of it all, never give up but sit yourself down and think about what you can do during the period of crisis and use it to your own advantage, am very sure you will overcome the crisis.

12 Things A Lady Should Look out For In A Life Partner

Every girl is unique. Moreover, what you expect from a guy and from a happy relationship would be very different from what your friend expects. Likewise, relationships too are just as unique, and what works for one person does not always have to work for someone else.

Instead of taking pointers from friends or asking for their opinions all the time, sometimes the easiest way to figure out if a person is a good match for you is by testing your capability with him, keeping your own expectation in mind.

In what way did you test your company? Additionally, how can you tell if he would actually be perfect for you? A guy could seem perfect for you, your friends may love him, and you may be falling hard for him too. Does that mean he would be perfect for you?

There are a few perceived faults that are completely excusable in a guy. But then again, there are a few things that may not seem like such a big deal to begin with, but over time, they may be the same things which can separate two of you, or leave you hurt and lost.

If you like a guy or have just started to date him, keep an eye on these 12 things to look out for in a guy. And make sure that both of you are compatible with all 12 of these things.

1.    His interest in commitment.

How serious is he about dating you on a long term or is he just looking for a short fling? There are a few guys who can’t handle loneliness, but at the same time,  are terrified of serious commitment too.

If you’re dating a guy, make sure he isn’t afraid to commit and is genuinely interested in the relationship.   Get close to him and watch his behavior. If you don’t feel like an important part of his life, chances are, you really aren’t!

2.    His arrogance.

Arrogance is subjective, but it’s yet a trait that’s very easy to identify. There’s a thin line between being overly confident in everything you do, and being cocky and arrogant about it. In case you are certain the guy you like is extremely confident in a cute way, that’s good for you. But if his behavior comes across as rude and arrogant, most importantly when he’s having a conversation with you, he’s definitely not the guy for you.

3.    His respect for you.

A great guy will respect you for the person you are, and won’t treat you like you are nothing more than his arm candy. A guy who respects you will try to impress you all the time. He’ll dress up and look good for you “because he doesn’t want to disappoint you,” he’ll display his chivalrous side every time he’s with you. On the other hand, if he doesn’t respect you, to take control while he would just behave like a lazy sob around you.

4.    His social life.

This is part of the cunning things to look for in a guy is his social life. Does he have a lot of friends? Is he a loner that no one likes to hang out with? A guy who’s too lonely may not always be a good find, because he’s either antisocial, boring or rude, or too occupied with something in his life to have time for anything else ‘and that includes you!
He pursues you.
Just how eager is this guy to date you? Did he attempt to woo you and pursue you, or is he just taking it easy? If a guy truly likes you and is interested in making you smile and keeping you happy, he had wooed you awe you all the time, with his gestures and his behavior around you. It does not matter even if you asked him out before he did. If a guy likes you, it’s in his evolutionary instincts to try and impress you. Therefore, if a guy you are dating doesn’t try to impress you, chances are, he isn’t impressed by you!
6.    He is not living a secret.
It might appear shocking but there are many guys who lead double lives. He may be dating someone else in another area code. while dating you at the same time! Make sure the guy you are dating isn’t building a secret relationship with you. Did he avoid taking you to a crowded restaurant? Did he look at the of frown and look around often, each a time both of you meet in public? If a guy has nothing to hide, he won’t have any qualms about going out with you in public or bumping into his friends when you are around.
7.    Emotional maturity.
It is always cute to watch a guy behave like a primate or a little boy. But when you really try to assess a guy as a dating potential, always look for emotional maturity. Does he become actually furious or egoistic over silly things? How does he approach big decisions in life? If he appears immature, most importantly when he’s making decisions, he’s probably not the perfect guy for you as a lifetime partner.
8.    His focus on life.
Now he does not have to be a millionaire or a budding entrepreneur. But when you think about this guy, just how focused is he with the way he leads his life?  Does he have any concrete plans for the future? "Not the saying or believe that I will be rich in five years kind of plan!” if a guy isn’t focused in life, it’s a pretty good sign that he’s a chaotic mess right now. He may not look  like a mess when you meet him, especially if he appears laid back and cool like a guy who’s living in the moment, but almost at all  times or perpetually, guys who don’t have goals or aren’t focused on anything in life will end up frustrated or lost very soon!
9.    Confidence.
A guy’s confidence plays a big part in a healthy relationship. He would feel more secure in the relationship, and he would be less clingy, which would ensure that he isn’t a clingy boyfriend. At the same time, a confident guy would also make the girl he’s dating feel more protected in the relationship. Take confidence out of the romance, and you have a controlling boyfriend, and a scared girlfriend. Moreover, that is not a good sign for love, is it?
10. He is romantic.
This may not matter to you right now, but at some point in time, it definitely will! “Most importantly when another girlfriend of yours starts dating a guy whose true romantic" Did he woo you and serenade you or does he believe that romantic gestures are fluff you see only in the movies? Date a guy only if you are comfortable with his romantic side.
11.   He listens to your opinions.
When a man listens to your opinion and even follows them, it shows that he really respect you and believe in what you have to say. If a guy considers you an equal and an intellectual whose ideas he respects, he’ll listen to you and consider your opinion before making a decision. On the other hand, if he thinks your idea is not worthy of his interest, he may pretend to care what you think at the start of the relationship. However, as time goes by, he may make it obvious that he does not care what you say or think. In addition, that is never a sign of good compatibility in a relationship.
12.   He is selfless.    Did this guy display little acts of selflessness every now and then when both of you start dating? Does he give you the better seat, or make sure you are comfortable before he gets comfortable?  Selflessness and unconditional love come naturally to considerate guys.  For your strict a guy how to be considerate, he’s probably not worth your time because he wouldn’t see selflessness as a romantic trait. Instead, an inconsiderate guy may see it as your way of emotionally cajoling or manipulating him just to see yourself happy.
These 12 things to look out for in a guy before you date him may seem simple, but more than anything else in your relationship, it’s these 12 traits of a guy that’ll test your compatibility with him and predict how happy your relationship with him would be over the years to come.

Pep saluted as compulsive brilliance behind man city victory

Pep Guardiola was commended on Monday for his persistent hunger for victory that forced   Manchester City to a back to back  Premier League title after a titanic fight with Liverpool.
Guardiola won his eighth league title in 10 seasons as a coach in charge of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Man City as the English champions followed up their record 100-point campaign last season with another thrilling  98-point season thanks to a 4- 1 triumph at Brighton.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’ s long wait for a first league title since 1990 extended inspire the Reds posting the third highest Premier League points tally ever with 97 after they beat Wolves 2-0 on Sunday.
Guardiola's party ran the headline in the Guardian newspaper. “ The only real world star in this set up is the manager.

“ They did ’ t go for ( Cristiano) Ronaldo or ( Lionel ) Messi but committed their resources in fine young players, nearly all of whom have been pushed to the outer levels of their talent. ”

Man City turned the first side in ten years to hold the title as Guardiola’ s demands guaranteed there was no drop off at the Etihad as has happened the seasons that followed title wins under Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini.
“ Manchester City could buy star players, capable enough to take them up the hills, but they could never stay there. Because you cannot buy hunger, the sustaining daily hunger that drove the greatest teams of another period,” said the Independent.
“ Senior officials at City say that they have never seen as much concentration and character from a City side in the modern era as what they have seen this season.

“ This is the inverse of what we have come to anticipate from champion City sides. And it is a justification of the daily passion and demands of their compulsive manager. ”

Intoxicating race
Liverpool, whose season could still end in joy if they win the Champions League next month, was also eulogized for the contribution they made to a thrilling race.
“ Nothing underlines the genius of Pep Guardiola’ steam more than the presence of Liverpool a short neck behind. Liverpool without doubt, one of the best teams the competition has ever seen,” said the Daily Mail.
“ Encapsulating this campaign is a battle of greatness. Liverpool was surprisingly good. Unbelievable, Man City were even good. ”
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said this season is just the starting of a trip for his side, but in their three-decade wait to win the league, the Reds came second before and failed to build on it the following season.

“ They ’ re entitled to wonder, given that they've pulled one of the most amazing league campaigns in history and still fallen short, what more can be done ?” added the Independent.
Klopp pointed to City ’ s financial power, backed by the club ’ s Abu Dhabi owners, as a principal reason why they will not be easy to overtake.
Nevertheless, unlike Manchester United, who end the season as close to the relegation zone as they were to City, 32 points behind the champions in the sixth, Man City has invested their money prudently.
“ More than half a billion pounds lavished on one of the most costly and brilliant squads ever gathered.   Manchester United pour millions down the drain, ” said The Times.
“ The danger, when City have knocked so many records in two years of domestic supremacy  — 198 league points from a possible 228, 19 domestic cup ties won out of 20 — is that it is considered as easy, normal, expected. Those figures suggest a persistent machine.

“ It is in observing  Guardiola on the out of bounds that we see the strain, the torment, the pressure that has been persistent since setting out last August, demanding  18 wins out of 19 since Christmas to stay in front of Jurgen Klopp ’ s superb  Liverpool. ”
